I feel every now and then an artist has to fall back, reflect, and recognize everything that has been going in their lives. At times the spotlight and public eye can be overwhelming for me, especially when things are out of place on the personal end. The pros in taking a break as an artist is that it aids in making more music. When I write and record music it is my way to vent and give my overall perspective of life. The music we make can be considered audio books for some of us. Life is full of ups and downs. When I'm down I reflect, then I write and record to get back up. I take everything in and use it as fuel to go touch more hearts and souls through my music.
